Oregon Expungement Center ("OEC," "we," "us") is a self-help document preparation platform. We provide automated tools that generate court-ready forms based on the information you provide. We are NOT a law firm and do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or attorney-client relationships.
Nothing on this website or in our services constitutes legal advice. The information provided is for general informational purposes only. Our eligibility screening tool applies published statutory criteria but cannot account for all circumstances that may affect your case. For legal advice specific to your situation, consult a licensed Oregon attorney.
By using our services, you agree to:
Our eligibility screening tool applies criteria from ORS 137.225 and related Oregon statutes based on the information you provide. Screening results are informational only and do not guarantee eligibility or court approval. Courts make the final determination on all expungement petitions.
We do not guarantee that your expungement petition will be granted by any court. Court decisions depend on many factors, including judicial discretion, District Attorney objections, and your complete criminal history. Our services help you prepare and file paperwork — the outcome is determined by the court.
Service fees are displayed on our pricing page and at the time of purchase. Our $249 fee covers document preparation, printing, mailing to the court and District Attorney, case tracking, the OSP background check form, and the $33 OSP fee. The only additional cost is fingerprinting ($15–40), which you pay directly to the fingerprinting provider.
When we file documents on your behalf, our office mailing address is listed on the paperwork as the address of record. All letters, notices, and orders from the court and District Attorney are sent to our office. We receive, open, scan, and store this correspondence in your online account. Scanned documents are available on your dashboard, usually the same day they arrive.
You also receive a dedicated email address for your case. If the court or District Attorney sends an email to that address, we capture it and save it to your dashboard alongside your scanned mail.
When your case is granted, we scan the official court order and save it to your account. We then mail the original court-stamped order to your personal mailing address on file. You are responsible for keeping your personal mailing address current in your account so we can deliver documents to you.
You may contact us at any time to request copies of any correspondence related to your case. We retain scanned correspondence in accordance with the data retention practices described in our Privacy Policy.
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oregon Expungement Center shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to denied petitions, delays, or errors in court filings. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service at issue.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will note the date of the most recent update at the top of this page.
Questions about these terms may be directed to [email protected].
