How it works

How it works

From eligibility check to your mailed court order.

1

Check Your Eligibility (Free)

Answer a few quick questions about your criminal record. Our system evaluates your answers against Oregon statutes (ORS 137.225) to determine if you likely qualify. Takes about 10 minutes and is completely free with no commitment.

  • No personal information required at this stage
  • Instant results with clear explanations
  • If ineligible, we explain why and when you'll qualify
2

Answer a Few Questions About Your Case

If you're likely eligible, create a secure account and complete our guided intake. We'll ask for information needed to complete all court forms. The wizard auto-saves your progress, so you can complete it at your own pace.

Information you'll need:

  • Legal name(s) and current address
  • Case numbers and county where convicted
  • Arrest and conviction dates
  • Information about fines and restitution
3

Pay $249 (Installment Plans Available)

Review your documents and pay the service fee. Stripe installment plans let you split the cost into 4 payments of $62.25. The $249 covers everything — document preparation, mailing, case tracking, document scanning, and court order delivery.

  • All court documents prepared and filed for you
  • OSP background check fee included
  • Full case tracking through to completion
4

We Prepare and Mail Your Documents

We automatically generate, print, and mail your court documents to:

  • The circuit court in your county
  • The District Attorney's office

Our mailing address is listed on these documents as the address of record. That means all responses from the court and DA will come directly to our office — not yours.

5

Get Fingerprinted and Mail Us the Card

Go to any fingerprinting location ($15–40) and get an FD-258 fingerprint card. Log in to your dashboard for fingerprint instructions and a map of locations near you. Mail the fingerprint card to our address (shown on your dashboard) in any envelope — this is the same address listed on your court documents. That's the only thing you have to do.

Your fingerprint instructions and our mailing address are on your dashboard. You get fingerprinted, put the card in any envelope, and mail it to us. We handle the rest.

We Submit to Oregon State Police

Once we receive your fingerprint card, we forward it to Oregon State Police along with the required forms and $33 background check fee. You don't need to deal with OSP directly.

7

We Track Your Case

Because our address is on your court paperwork, all mail from the court and DA comes directly to us. We open and scan every document and save it to your account — usually the same day it arrives. You also get a dedicated email address, so if the court or DA sends an email, we capture that too. Log in anytime to see your case status and read what the court sent.

  • All court and DA mail received at our office on your behalf
  • Dedicated email address captures court and DA emails
  • Every document and email saved to your account
  • Real-time case status dashboard
  • Update your personal mailing address anytime if you move
8

You Get Your Court Order

Once your expungement is granted, the court issues an official court-stamped order. We scan it and save a copy to your account, then mail the original directly to you. Your record is cleared.

Timeline: The DA has 120 days to respond. Most cases take 3–6 months total. Processing times vary by county — you can check your case status anytime.

From eligibility check to your mailed court order.

Check if your record qualifies in about 10 minutes. If eligible, we take it from there.
